Subjects
From Scripture Topical Guide
Subjects are topics under which you can make notes and maintain a list of citations. They can be cross-referenced with other subjects as well.

Organization
Information is organized in a tree list on the left-hand side of the screen. "Buckets", or "nodes", are automatically generated for every letter in the alphabet, plus one numeric category.
Subjects are located in the folder corresponding to the first letter in the title of the subject, and are sorted alphabetically. Subjects are sorted based on their title. (With any initial article removed and appended to the end.) For example, the subjects, Baptism, The Atonement, Theocracy, and Apostasy would appear as follows:
- A
- Apostasy
- Atonement, The
- B
- Baptism
- T
- Theocracy
Managing Subjects
Adding a Subject
To add a subject, right-click on either a blank spot on the tree list, or right-click on one of the letter buckets in the tree list, and select "Add Subject" from the menu.
Removing a Subject
To remove, or delete, a subject, simply right-click on the subject in the tree list and select "Remove Subject". You will be prompted to confirm that you really intended to remove the subject.
Be careful deleting subjects as when a subject is deleted, all material contained within a subject will also be deleted and become unrecoverable.
Renaming a Subject
To rename a subject, simply right-click on the subject in the tree list and select "Rename Subject". You will be prompted for the new name of the subject, after which the subjects name will be changed and it will be resorted into its appropriate place in the tree list.
